Best Wedding Venues in Perast, Montenegro

Perast may be one of Montenegro's smallest coastal towns, but it is home to some of the country's most romantic wedding venues. Set along the Bay of Kotor and surrounded by mountains, Perast offers a unique blend of historic architecture, waterfront settings, and an intimate atmosphere.
If you're looking for a wedding destination that feels elegant, authentic, and peaceful, these are some of the best venues to consider.
Heritage Grand Perast
Located in a beautifully restored Venetian palace on the waterfront, Heritage Grand Perast is arguably the town's most iconic wedding venue. The property combines historic character with luxury accommodation and stunning views across the Bay of Kotor. Ceremonies can take place overlooking the water, while receptions benefit from one of the most elegant settings in Montenegro.
At Heritage Grand Perast Hotel, you can pick between 2 venues - either the panoramic terrace or the courtyard. The panoramic terrace will work great if you have a smaller wedding, around 60 people. But if you have more guests, then the panoramic terrace will be too small. Then the courtyard is the best option. If you decide to book the courtyard, they will close it off from the guests so you have a private venue.
Heritage Grand Perast Hotel is definitely one of the top venues not only in Perast but also in the whole of the Bay of Kotor. The only thing I did not like is that you have to make sure at least 15 rooms are booked. I can not guarantee that, I don't want to force my guests to book there. The hotel is amazing, but it is also pricey. So, although the venue is absolutely magical, I did not go for it due to the obligatory room booking.

Conte Hotel & Restaurant
Few venues capture the charm of Perast quite like Conte. Located directly on the waterfront, it offers uninterrupted views across the bay and towards Our Lady of the Rocks. The venue feels intimate and relaxed while still providing a beautiful backdrop for weddings and celebrations. Its waterfront terrace is particularly popular for sunset receptions.
They also offer to organize the wedding in the courtyard next to them. It is a beautiful location, but as it is a public space, they can't really set it up so that people can't pass. So it is magical but definitely not private.
I spoke with the event manager and restaurant manager, and they were so helpful and lovely people. Always quick to reply, and Conte really gave good vibes.

Our Lady of the Rocks

Although not a traditional wedding venue, the famous island church opposite Perast creates one of the most unique ceremony settings in Montenegro. Need to note that this place is purely for the ceremony. Accessible only by boat, it offers a truly unforgettable experience and some of the most iconic wedding photographs in the country.
